France-headquartered Natixis Investment Managers ( Natixis IM ) has appointed Ping Yee Low as its head of institutional business, Singapore and Southeast Asia, as part of its strategy, it says, to strengthen its institutional business capabilities in the region.

In her role, Low will be responsible for leading and accelerating the development of company’s business with institutional clients in Singapore and Southeast Asia. She will be based in Singapore and reports to Dora Seow, the company’s Singapore CEO.

The company has added key leadership hires in Asia-Pacific in recent months, including Johan Lim who joined as its head of wealth for Hong Kong, Singapore and Southeast Asia.

“The region is seeing rapid growth, and we want to capitalize on this, expanding into new markets and building on our existing networks,” says Fabrice Chemouny, Natixis IM’s head of international distribution. “Working closely with our range of investment managers, Low’s strategic thinking and expertise will be invaluable in helping us grow our business.”

Dora Seow, the asset manager’s Singapore CEO, adds: “Low brings over two decades of extensive experience across sales, investment consulting, research and product management, as well as a deep understanding of the distinctive needs of institutional clients, which will be instrumental as we continue expanding our footprint in the region.”
